Introduction to Business & Marketing
WELCOME to the wild and wonderful world of Introduction to Business and Marketing! This class is designed to introduce students to the many business opportunities in marketing, management and entrepreneurship, as well as develop employability and leadership skills. It is a very active class that demands responsibility and initiative from the students.
Students in the Business and Marketing program are also members of DECA, an association of Marketing student. DECA is a co-curricular student-driven organization that enhances the classroom experience with hands-on, minds-on learning through chapter activities, conferences and competitions. MATERIALS AND FEES:
Students will need to check out an Individual Activity Text Book. Students will also need basic items such as pens, pencils, paper, etc. Additional materials will be provided by the teacher.
There is a $20 fee for the class that goes directly to state and national DECA dues. If you are unable to pay these dues, please see the teacher.
All students are required to have an ASB card.
