Passages
This course will allow students to gain a greater understanding of themselves, their friends, and family as they take a mini-voyage through life from childhood through old age. Emphasis will be given to increasing awareness of special problems and needs associated with various ages and stages. Marriage, divorce, blended families, old age and dealing with death, are just a few of the topics covered. Guest speakers, cooperative learning groups, and field trips will be featured to help with the understanding of people of all ages. |
