Applied Mathematics contains some of the important mathematics you’ll need to be a productive member of today’s workforce. The ideas you’ll learn will help you understand:

  • Numbers, decimals, fractions and percents
  • Shapes and sizes
  • How to handle equations and formulas
  • How to work with angles and triangles
  • How to estimate answers and solve problems
  • How to describe the behavior of large populations of things

Applied Mathematics contains video programs, laboratory activities and problem-solving exercises. Each part has been designed to make mathematics more useful and meaningful to you.
