Mrs. Schafer
FFF (Food, Finance, and Family)

Food, Finance, and Family (FFF) is designed to introduce students to the basics of real world finance, child care/responsibilities, food preparation and safety, clothing care, and family/peer relationships. Students will explore careers and consumer related topics in nutrition, financing, and parenting. We will have many discussions, group and individual projects, activities, some writing assignments, and quizzes.

In foods, some items we make are muffins, tuna casserole, chicken enchiladas, salads, and pasta.  You'll have a chance to try many new and healthy items!

Attendance is VERY important! When we do activities and projects, you really miss out if you are gone; it’s really difficult to make up participation in an activity.

This will be a fun class where you will learn a lot that will be valuable the rest of your life!
