A Spokane tradition,
Valleyfest is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The
festival begins on Friday, September 25 at 7 p.m. with the Valleyfest “Hearts
of Gold” parade down Sprague Avenue. The free community celebration continues
on Saturday and Sunday, September 26 & 27 at Mirabeau Park with a pancake breakfast, hot air balloon launch,
5K Run for Hunger, live musical performances, a classic car show and much, much
more. Central Valley School District is supporting Valleyfest again this year
with a giant bounce house (“inflatable”) and an information table in the park
on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.And, Valleyfest visitors can explore the exciting new planetarium inside
CenterPlace on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. For more information, call
