Little Grunt & Mighty Dinosaurs

Little Grunt and the Big Egg by Tomie dePaola
Little Grunt and his family adopt George, a baby dinosaur who grows so big that he no longer fits in the family cave.  The grunts send George away, but he returns in time to rescue them from an erupting volcano.
                                 

Mighty Dinosaurs
Dinosarus were giant lizards that lived millions of years ago.  They came in many different shapes and sizes, and scientists study their fossils to learn more about them.
