Sports Physicals - The WIAA has modified its policy regarding sports physicals. Starting June1, 2004, sports physicals will be effective for a two-year period. Parents are encouraged to get these physicals from a medical professional who is considered the family physician.
Bowdish competes in the Spokane Valley Middle School Activity League. Click here for the Valley Activity League handbook. To be eligible to compete, a student must be passing all classes (no F's), be maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0, have a valid ASB card, and have a current physical card on file.
Safety Guidelines will be distributed at the beginning of each sport season. Each participant must have a CVSD Activity Form signed and on file. To be eligible for competition a minimum number of practices has been established for each sport.
To maintain eligibility, all middle school athletes must satisfy eligibility criteria at both the state (WIAA) and district (CVSD) levels. See the Bowdish Eligibility Standards in your child's agenda for more information.
