Welcome to the website for Barker High School, where every student is recognized and treated as an individual.

Barker offers a quality educational choice for students in grades 9-12 who are seeking a diploma from Central Valley School District. With an emphasis on individualized planning and goal setting, students are an integral part of structuring their own learning and taking responsibility for their achievements.

Dedicated staff members work with students to assist them with personal and academic growth. At Barker, there is a sense of community that provides both support and opportunity. Both students and staff strive toward a common academic purpose as well as a focus on teamwork, participation, self-respect and respect for others. To bolster these efforts, continual emphasis on a supportive learning environment is critical.
