Parent and Student Input Key to Strategic Planning Process

More than 260 parents, students, employees and community members shared their thoughts about Central Valley schools during a series of 13 focus groups held last month. The focus groups are one of eight steps in the district’s year-long strategic planning process.

Programs & Services

A variety of services is available to Adams Elementary School students and their families to ensure educational success.

  • Counselor -- academic, social and behavioral counseling services
  • Library -- a world of resources is just one click away
  • Nurse -- services offered by a team of district-wide school nurses
  • Special Education -- provides access to educational programs for qualified individuals 
  • Central Valley Able Learner Program -- support for highly capable elementary students  
  • Learning Support -- struggling students receive extra help in reading, writing, math and other subject areas
    • Learning Assistance Program (LAP)
    • English Language Development (ELD)
  • Title I Services -- service offered to help ensure that all children have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on challenging state academic standards and assessments.
