Eagle Singers
Established in 2004, the Adams Eagle Singers is made up of Fourth and Fifth grade students who voluntarily meet twice weekly after school. The purpose of this talented, enthusiastic group of young people is to share joy and music throughout the Spokane Valley community. Eagle Singer performances include school character assemblies, local retirement and nursing homes, local community events and benefits.
Each year the Eagle Singers record and produce a Compact Disc of their music. In 2007, our CD “Everyday Heroes” was a tribute to our American heroes and the proceeds were used to benefit Austan Pierce, a local fifteen year old who heroically battled cancer.
Thanks to a grant from the WEA, this year’s CD will be distributed to troops in Iraq and is a stirring tribute to our brave men and women in the military. Selections include “Tomorrow Needs Us” and “Agents of Change”, reminders that our young people are the brave heroes of tomorrow and that it takes all of us to make our future better and brighter.
Copies of our 2007 CD are still available and we are now accepting orders for this year’s CD. Our 2009 CD can be pre-ordered up through April 15. Each CD is $6.00 and checks need to be made payable to Adams Elementary.
