Classroom Environment
I want the library to be a place which has something to offer everyone who walks through the doors and a place which every student is excited to visit. I hope to inspire students to be voracious, well-informed readers.
Students are encouraged to:
Check out and read as many books as possible
Access books and information independently
Schedule
The library is open from 8:50 to 3:30 daily.
Students can check out books before school, during afternoon recess and after school.
Check with your child's classroom teacher for your child's scheduled library time.
This year's library theme is We're WILD about Books, and activities throughout the year will revolve around the theme. I'm looking forward to a fun-filled year as Queen of the Jungle.
About Me
My husband, who is also in education, and I have been married 33 years. We have two sons. Our youngest graduated from Central Valley High School and is attending West Point this year. Our oldest son is attending Duke University as a graduate student. Our favorite ways to spend time together as a family are to ski and to sit around talking and laughing.
This is my seventh year as librarian at Adams, and I absolutely love my job.
